Nancy Drew is an ambitious student reporter who enters a competition in her town newspaper, amateur journalism. Her investigation immediately becomes a life mystery as she realizes that a young woman, Eula Denning, was wrongly convicted of murder.
Nancy does not want an innocent individual to suffer, so she employs the help of her wit, courage, and charm to find out something, outwit criminals, and identify the real culprit all the time being a student and teasing her friendship with Ted Nickerson.
